Photography is an integral part of my life. Most of the images taken with my first camera were of my dogs (and the neighbours' dogs). So, it wasn't much of a stretch for me to find my niche in pet photography. But that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy photographing people as well!
I truly enjoy photographing in an informal setting such as a park, playground, back yard, or in the home of a client. But, I also like the challenge of capturing my the character of my subjects in a more formal studio setting. Pride in my work is evident and client satisfaction is very important to me.
I am committed to being involved in helping out with fundraising in the dog rescue world. I often help raise funds through my photography with such organizations as Bullies In Need and Hopeful Hearts. I have also donated several gift certificates to rescue organizations for silent auctions and door prizes. I often donate images of dogs in need of homes to the respective organizations under which they are being cared for while waiting to be placed in their forever homes.
I am also an avid dog sport fan!! I participate in and train my two younger dogs in fly ball, agility and disc. I love photographing dogs in action regardless of whether they are participating in a sport or just simply out enjoying themselves and having a good run.
Situated in Kanata, Ontario, I am pleased to serve the greater Ottawa area.
I quite happily share my home with my three dogs, Sparky, Alika and Eklypse.
